This makes a lovely present for anyone who likes displaying flowers. Both items have been hand thrown on a potters wheel from stoneware clay and are glazed in a matt oatmeal glaze. These stem discs were originally designed as an alternative to florists foam (which is non reusable and breaks down into waterways). They look attractive on their own for displaying dried flowers or they can be submerged in water in the flower dish for holding fresh stems. Both items should be washed in warm soapy water and dried out after use.
