Collaborations
I think it’s fair to say that Marmadukes love all things mugs and cups! So much so that they even had a world cup (and mug) championship. I was approached by Marmadukes in 2025 to make some coffee cups with their logo. After a few discussions, holding and looking samples and a fair amount of experimenting, we fixed on one we were happy with and it seems the customers are too.
The cups are used and sold at all three locations in Sheffield (and occasionally online). We’ve had a few editions now made in small batches and each time they have sold out quickly so if you want one you’ll have to get in quick!
I walked in to Bakhoos Bakery on the Black Isle in Scotland in the summer of 2025 after visiting friends locally. They’d recommended stopping there for some treats for our journey home and I’m so glad they did. I loved it; the food, the coffee, décor, vibe and the lovely owner Charlotte. And that was the start of a collaboration of ideas & designs all with the relaxed and joyful feeling of this little bakery.
Eve Kitchen on Sharrow Vale Road doesn’t stand still. They are always adapting, growing & changing to meet their customer’s needs. I used to sell my products in their homeware section which, If I’d ever had a shop I’d hope would be similar to that. But the real demand was for doughnuts and their doughnuts really are amazing! Now a bakery, I make cups and plates, they decorate them and sometimes customers can decorate them too.
Back in 2023 when Open House was still a bit of a dream the owners asked me if I could make their ceramics. I was honoured but also felt a little out of my depth. Luckily, they were very patient. It was just me, my small studio, one kiln, plus the fact that I’d never made a plate before! After some time, some samples and a bit more time, the plates, bowls, cacao cups, tumblers and matcha cups were ready. The tumblers and cacao cups have been the biggest hit with customers; their angled sides inspired by the rocky crags above Hathersage, the home of Open House.
