These stem cubes were designed as a fun way of displaying a variety of stems found around the garden or on walks. They are hand shaped from buff stoneware clay, and are glazed in a matte light stone coloured glaze. The bases are unglazed showing the contrasting clay and my makers mark.
These cubes are heavy with 3 different sized deep holes so that they are able to hold tall stems with heavy heads as well as fine grasses. They can also be submerged in water to use as a flower frog for fresh stems. They arrive attractively packaged and make an ideal gift. Each item is unique so sizes, shapes and glazes vary slightly.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
