Small stem vase wheel thrown from a sandy buff stoneware clay, and glazed in a glossy speckled white glaze. The rims and bases are unglazed showing the contrasting clay. The glaze is full of small speckled details which can be seen in the photos. The bases are rounded and the sides taper inwards so that the rim is narrower than the base. My makers mark is stamped on the base.
These vases are watertight and were designed to hold single stems or small bunches of dried or cut flowers. They arrive attractively packaged and make an ideal gift. They are delicate and look great on a small shelf, mantlepiece or windowsill. Each item is unique so sizes, shapes and glazes vary slightly.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
