One off - Plate and tumbler

This is a one-off set consisting of 2 items; a serving plate and a faceted tumbler.  It would make a great gift. Both items are wheel thrown from a buff stoneware clay and are glazed in a light oatmeal glaze.  The bases and rims are left unglazed to show the contrasting dark sandy coloured clay.  

Both items are dishwasher safe although hand washing is generally recommended for handmade ceramics.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
