This bowl is part of the 'Summer Splash' collection; wheel thrown in a buff stoneware clay and glazed in glossy white speckled glaze with a blue cobalt oxide design. The glaze is wiped from the rim to show the contrasting raw toasted clay. The base is left unglazed and shows my makers mark. Because the design varies so much, each of these bowls has been listed separately. If you would like a pair, this bowl goes well with Dinner bowl no.10.
My ceramics are dishwasher safe (I put all of mine in the dishwasher constantly) although hand washing is generally recommended for any handmade ceramics.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
