These stem cubes were designed as a fun way of displaying a variety of stems found around the garden or on walks. They are hand shaped from buff stoneware clay, and are glazed in a matt light stone coloured glaze. The bases are unglazed showing the contrasting clay and my makers mark.
These are great for standing fresh stems in to dry them and for displaying dried flowers. They can be submerged in water to use as a flower frog for fresh stems. They arrive attractively packaged and make an ideal gift. They look great on a small shelf, mantlepiece or windowsill. Each item is unique so sizes, shapes and glazes vary slightly.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
