These stem rings are wheel thrown from stoneware clay and glazed in a light stone coloured, matt glaze. They arrive attractively packaged and would make a perfect gift for someone who loves displaying flowers and other stems. They were designed to hold dried flowers and stems, but they can be immersed in water and they look great in a shallow dish displaying fresh flowers. These stem rings make a nice change from a vase and look great as a centrepiece on a table particularly with a candle in the middle. Drip marks and different thicknesses of glaze give these pieces a natural, handmade feel. The base and bottom part of the ring is left unglazed showing the ray fired clay and maker's mark. They are all unique and sizes vary slightly.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
