These wide necked vases are thrown on the wheel in a speckled, light coloured stoneware clay and glazed in a glossy white glaze. These are watertight and are made to hold heavier cut or dried flowers. The wide neck is great for supporting larger headed flowers such as peonies. The wide, heavy bases give them extra stability to enable plants to hang over the sides from a shelf or mantlepiece without the vase toppling over. They are glazed three quarters of the way down, so the bottom quarter or so has a contrasting texture of natural, light flecked clay. My maker's mark is stamped on the base.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
Postage and packaging costs are included in the price shown.
