The Chapel Porth bottle vases are wheel thrown from a buff stoneware clay and glazed in a really unique glaze that I have named "Chapel Porth' after my old local beach on the North Cornish coast. The turquoise is like the sea, the unglazed clay like the sandy beach, and the brown colours are like the surrounding cliffs. The glaze fades towards the bottom of the vase where the raw, fired clay is exposed. Bubbles and white lines are also sometimes shown in this glaze which are like the sea and crashing waves.
The vases are watertight with heavy bases so they can be used for dried or cut flowers. The sizes, shape and glaze on each vase varies as shown in the photos.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
Postage and packaging costs are included in the price shown.
