These were made as an ideal gift. The gift box contains five individually wrapped mini bud vases in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are wheel thrown using a smooth light coloured stoneware clay, and are glazed in lightly speckled matt white glaze.
These vases are ideal as ornaments or they can hold small dried flowers and stems. They are not glazed inside so they are not fully watertight. The shapes, sizes and glazing varies but I will select a group of five that looks good together. The bases are unglazed and show my maker's mark.

The environment is important to me and I want the packaging of my items to be effective, attractive and sustainable. I use a variety of packaging materials depending on how the item is getting to its new home. This may in part be reusing less 'green' packaging that can be reused again, or using my own sustainable packaging.
